A rising tradition nationwide, this event is held to honor the 343 firefighters, 37 Port Authority police officers, 23 NYPD officers and 8 private ambulance EMS workers who sacrificed it all 16 years ago.

Family, friends and supporters of first responders are encouraged to participate or come cheer the participants on!

For firefighters, full bunker gear including an airpack is encouraged but not mandatory.

Participants will climb 110 flights of stairs to honor the ultimate sacrifice. Registration includes one stair climb participant, a t-shirt and a raffle ticket in addition to food, beer & beverages after the event.

Those participants who complete all 110 flights of stairs will receive a commemorative Central Florida Firefighters challenge coin as well.

Firefighting gear and airpacks will NOT be provided by the event.

Individual placards of the 343 will be carried to the top by all participants.
